What this means for your trip

A visa on arrival is issued at the port of entry. Expect a fee, a passport photo and sometimes proof of onward travel and accommodation.

Not every airport or land border issues it, and some nationalities are sent to secondary checks; confirm the entry point before you travel.

You need a travel adapter: Tuvalu uses plug types I, Kenya uses G. Mains voltage differs (Tuvalu: 220 V; Kenya: 240 V): most phone and laptop chargers accept 100–240 V, but single-voltage devices such as some hair dryers need a converter.
