Visa-free entry lets you arrive with a valid passport and pass border control without applying in advance.

The permitted length of stay is set at the border; ask the officer if it is not stamped in your passport.

You need a travel adapter: Singapore uses plug types G, the United States uses A, B. Mains voltage differs (Singapore: 230 V; the United States: 120 V): most phone and laptop chargers accept 100–240 V, but single-voltage devices such as some hair dryers need a converter.
